we have noticed a marked improvement in our teams
conditioning and speed.  What was most evident was the
boys improved base running, quicker first steps and faster
lateral speed when fielding balls.  

As the level of play grew higher at the State and Regional
championships the players were better able to master the
footwork necessary to make more complicated plays.   We
believe this is a direct correlation to the agility work that was
done prior to the season.  This work helped improve these
younger athletes coordination preparing there bodies to be
able to learn the muscle memory required to turn double
plays and execute pick off moves."
